Butter - is a solid, creamy vegetable oil that starts to melt when it hits the skin. It is obtained from oil-bearing plants. It is widely used in cosmetics, massages, aromatherapy.
Types of solid oils.
There are two types of butter oils:
Naturally pressed. The properties of some plant species allow solid oils to be obtained by traditional pressing without additional technological processes and components.
Solid oils of natural origin have this consistency due to their "refractory" (melting point 30-38°). This is due to the place of origin of the raw materials from which the oil is produced. Usually, these are hot tropical countries and there are not so many plants with such properties - cocoa, mango, shea (karite), babassu and some others.
At its core, cow butter is the same butter, only of animal origin. If placed in heat, it will begin to melt.
This is to better understand the structure and characteristics of solid oils.
Artificially pressed oils are obtained from plants whose oil is in liquid form. To give it a solid consistency, it is mixed with hydrogenated vegetable oils and vegetable pulp. Example oils: coconut, aloe vera, avocado, mango, coffee, baobab, pistachio, rarely citrus like orange and others.
Both work actively and have a beneficial effect on the skin, hair and body.
