Mint is a suitable herb for the treatment of diseases of the biliary tract, gallstone disease, chronic pancreatitis, disorder. Menthol is also an integral part of many drugs for cardiovascular disease. Mint is also used in the treatment of the upper respiratory tract in bronchitis. It has an antiseptic and analgesic effect.

Folk medicine says that mint is a suitable herb for the treatment of dizziness, insomnia, headaches, depression, epilepsy. The decoction of the leaves is used for nervous excitement, gingivitis and toothache. Gargles with mint are also effective. It also helps to eliminate bad breath. In this case, soak the mint leaves for 8 days in red wine in a ratio of 1 to 10. Use the resulting mixture for gnawing or drinking (two tablespoons after eating). In case of migraines, colds, coughs, sinusitis, fatigue, shock, nervous tension, inhalations with peppermint oil are suitable. Peppermint massage is effective for menstrual disorders. Mint is also used to make compresses for skin rashes, bruises and boils.

Be careful if you are allergic to this herb, then avoid inhaling the vapors of peppermint oil.

Mint is also widely used in cooking. Adds flavor to fruit salads, especially with strawberries, jams, creams, soft drinks and ice cream. It is very interesting to combine it with chocolate or an alcoholic cocktail. Apart from the food industry, this herb is also used in cosmetics (mint is an ingredient in perfumes, soaps, toothpastes and mouthwashes) and aromatherapy. Many people also use mint as a mosquito repellent. They grow it in pots and put bags of dried mint in wardrobes and cupboards.
