Description: The pink absolute (or absolute) is a concentrated extract extracted from the flowers of the Bulgarian rose.
Rose absolute is obtained by treating pink concrete with an alcoholic solvent (ethanol) to separate the waxes and filtering cold by vacuum distillation. It is a reddish liquid with a fine pink odor.
The composition of the absolute includes the components of rose oil, the main one being phenylethyl alcohol (about 70%), followed by citronellol, geraniol and nerol.
Applications of pink absolute
It is used in fine perfumery, the pharmaceutical industry, and less so in cosmetics and aromatherapy. Rose absolute is one of the best cosmetic ingredients and is suitable for all skin types due to its strong moisturizing and hydrating effect.
