Calendula absolute is used only in premium perfumes. It is obtained in Bulgaria, where the flowers of the plant are used for this purpose. Calendula has a sharp grassy aroma. The perfume with its notes has a slight bitterness and warmth that gives harmony and calmness. Calendula sounds beautiful in floral and citrus aromas, and also combines with notes of oakmoss, sage, ginger and coriander.

 


In modern perfumery, calendula is less and less common, but it still remains a component of many iconic fragrances of the 20th century, which won many fans. The notes of this plant are most often used as an ingredient in the "top" of a perfume composition. Calendula is current in both women's and men's fragrances.

 

 

 

Method: Calendula absolute is obtained by extraction with ethyl alcohol of concrete. It is orange-brown in color and jelly-like in mass. It has a fresh herbal marigold scent.
